Skoda Auto India introduces the Rapid 5X5 Experience
Here comes another move targeted at this festive season. Skoda Auto India has introduced the 'Rapid 5X5 Experience'. It is a costumer experience package for its entry level sedan, the Rapid. This package will ensure that, customers can buy the Rapid without worrying about the rising interest rates and maintenance costs. Skoda hopes to provide prospective customers with an enhanced ownership experience through this offer.
The Rapid '5x5 Experience' includes a Total Extended Warranty Package for 5 years which will also be valid for 2nd owners, car loan up to 5 years at 7.99 percent interest, preventive maintenance schedule which will cover regular service schedules up to 5 years, 5 years of road side assistance which will also be valid for 2nd owners and first year insurance free and monthly payment for the consecutive months.
This package is available on all the variants of the Rapid across all the Skoda dealerships till the end of September 2013.
A few months back Skoda launched the Rapid Leisure Edition. It came with a few aesthetic updates and feature enhancements. The Rapid comes powered by either a 1.6-litre petrol unit making 105PS and 153Nm or the 1.6-litre oil-burner making 105PS and 250Nm. Both the engines are available with a 5-speed manual gearbox while the petrol has an option for a 6-speed autobox.
Skoda Auto currently sells four cars in the Indian market - the Superb, Laura,Yeti and the Rapid. The 2014 Octavia will very soon join this lineup.
