Skoda India to expand presence to more than 100 cities
Since the launch of the Skoda Kushaq less than a month ago, the network of Skoda Auto has grown by more than 15 per cent. This has been made possible by a concerted effort to extend the network, which was a key component of the KUSHAQ launch plan. As of August 2021, the brand will be present in over 100 cities across India and will have more than 170 customer touchpoints including sales and after-sales facilities. This will be the company's most extensive coverage in the country since entering the market.
The introduction of the Skoda Kushaq has instilled a great degree of confidence and enthusiasm within the dealer community. More than 200 dealership applications have been received from potential partners who want to be a part of the brand's expansion in India.
The launch of the network expansion plan is the product of a year of intense work selecting suitable partners and the increased demand throughout their product line. The 100 cities include new markets like Sangli, Bhilwara, Faridabad, Panchkula, Navsari, Vapi and Hardoi, amongst others.
Skoda Auto India also recently announced its Peace of Mind Campaign to provide additional benefits and an enhanced experience to customers in India. The Peace of Mind Campaign is built on four pillars - cost of ownership, customer Reach, convenience and transparency. The firm intends to expand its after-sales products through this effort, giving customers an unmatched ownership experience.
