Team OD Updated: June 15, 2016, 12:22 PM IST

The recent ban on diesel cars displacing over 2,000cc in the Delhi-NCR has forced car manufacturers to either shift their focus on petrol engines or downsize their current engines to meet the required standards. Mahindra opted for the downsizing route and has launched a 1.99L variant for its flagship SUV, the XUV500, which has been developed exclusively for the Delhi-NCR. Interestingly, the W6 variant is priced at Rs 14.51 lakh (ex-Delhi) similar to that of the Hyundai Creta SX+ diesel AT. The Renault Duster's top-end AMT variant is priced at just Rs 12.86 lakh (ex-Delhi). The XUV500 is a bigger SUV, but the W6 doesn't come with as many features that the Creta and the Duster offer. How do these three SUVs fare against one another? We take a look in our spec comparo report.
