Suzuki Gixxer SF Moto GP edition launched for the price of Rs 1.1 lakh
Suzuki Gixxer SF, 155cc fully-faired motorcycle has been updated with Suzuki's Moto GP livery. The Moto GP edition gets a blue colour with Suzuki Ecstar decals on the sides. The motorcycle also gets florescent highlights on the alloys as well. The Moto GP Edition commands a premium of Rs 1,000 over the standard motorcycle and is priced at Rs 1.1 lakh ex-showroom Delhi. The Suzuki Gixxer SF mainly rivals the Yamaha YZF-R15 V3, Bajaj Pulsar 180F which retail at Rs 1.40 lakh and Rs 98,000 ex-showroom India, respectively.
Mechanically the motorcycle is the same and gets a fuel-injected 155cc engine that produces 14.1PS at 8,000rpm and 14Nm at 6,000rpm. Power is sent to the rear wheel via the same five-speed gearbox.
The motorcycle gets telescopic suspensions in the front and a mono-shock in the rear. The bike gets disc brake setup on both ends and benefits from a single-channel ABS (anti-lock braking system). Other features include an all-LED headlamp, dual exhaust tips and an-all digital instrument cluster. Also, the motorcycle has a mildly sporty stance - courtesy, clip-on handlebar set up.
