Triumph Motorcycles sets up two new dealerships at Chandigarh and Kolkata

Triumph Motorcycles have now opened two new dealerships in the country in Chandigarh and Kolkata. The two new showrooms bring up Triumph's reach to 10 cities in the country – these include Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kochi, Pune, Ahmedabad, Delhi and Mumbai.

The British motorcycle maker entered the Indian market in January, this year with a line-up of 10 motorcycles, including the Bonneville, the Thruxton and the popular Street Triple. Triumph Motorcycles India Private Limited claims that the facilities provided at its Indian showrooms complies with the brand's "international standards of sales, service, spare parts and systems". The staff is said to be trained by experts from Hinckley at the company's Manesar plant.

Regarding the decision to set up showrooms in the two cities, Vimal Sumbly, managing director, Triumph Motorcycles India Pvt Ltd said, "Both Kolkata and Chandigarh are very fascinating markets and will help with the steady growth of the brand here in India. The opening of the two dealership strengthens our commitment to better establish the brand in the local market. The enthusiasm from brand patrons and fans that we have seen over the last one year is overwhelming."

The company also announced that it has clocked over 1,000 bookings across its five motorcycle categories in the country. Sumbly went on to add that "the number is growing progressively by the day. The ride quality and experience offered by a Triumph motorcycle suits the individual needs of every biking enthusiast and we are expecting great response from the enthusiasts. We want to offer Triumph lovers not just a product but an overall experience that they deserve from a globally renowned brand like ours."
