Triumph owners 'Ride for Freedom' on Independence Day to support education for girls

300 Triumph Motorcycle customers joined together this Independence Day on a 'Ride for Freedom'. This ride was organised in all 12 cities where Triumph dealerships have been established. Triumph Motorcycles in partnership with Smile Foundation set up this event to create awareness on education for girl children.
As a part of this ride, every rider pledged to donate a sum ranging between Rs 500 and Rs 4,200 to provide for the educational expenses of a girl through this foundation. The Smile Foundation works towards improving healthcare, education and livelihood of children and also undertakes women empowerment programs.
Over 300 Triumph Customers came together to 'Ride for Freedom' on the Independence Day
August 17th, 2015, New Delhi: To commemorate the 69 years of India's Independence, around 300 Triumph Motorcycles customers came together to 'Ride for Freedom' on the Independence Day across twelve cities. Triumph Motorcycles, the iconic British Motorcycle manufacturer, partnered with Smile Foundation to support the cause of girl child education. Education provides freedom to mankind and India would be truly Independent when its girls get their right to education. Triumph Motorcycles, which is closing 2000 customers in India, has had this 'Ride for Freedom' across all twelve cities wherein it has its dealerships in the country, on the Independence Day Smile Foundation has been doing exemplary work towards healthcare, education and livelihood of children along with undertaking women empowerment programs. As part of the 'Ride for Freedom' campaign each participating Triumph Rider also took a pledge of donating a sum ranging from Rs. 500 to Rs. 4,200 that would provide for education expenses of a girl child through Smile Foundation. | |
