Unveiled 2014 Audi RS Q3
Audi's first RS Q model will be unveiled at the 2013 Geneva Auto Show. The RS Q3 makes 310PS of power and 420Nm of torque from its 2.5-litre direct injection turbocharged unit. Mated to this stonker is a 7-speed S tronic box and four-wheel drive. All these figures translate to a 0-100kmph sprint in 5.5 seconds and a top whack of 250kmph. Audi has also lowered the sports suspension and added eight-piston callipers with cross-drilled rotors.
In concept form, the RS Q3 was first displayed in China last year. The production-ready RS Q3 retains the clothes worn by the concept and there are big air intakes at the front with the lower intake featuring the Quattro logo. There is a silver accent running around the grille, roof rails, mirror caps and near the exhaust pipes. Inside the cabin, similar to the other RS models, there is a flat-bottomed steering wheel as also optional interior upholstery in the form of carbon fiber and aluminium.
Will Audi bring it to India? Fingers crossed.
