Unveiled Smart ForStars concept
Smart will be unveiling this, the ForStars concept at the 2012 Paris Motor Show. The company calls this as a 'Sports Utility Coupe' with its ground clearance resembling those of crossovers and cargo space of an SUV. It has an eyebrow above the headlamps akin to the legendary Speed Buggy with a smiley at the lower fascia.
Occupants get a panoramic roof made of transparent glass panels. Inside the cabin, on the roof, there is a video projector. Using an iPhone and speakers moulded into the side vents, it can project images. Though it uses electrical components similar to the Brabus E-Drive, the ForStars has a 17.6kWh Li-ion battery with a 60 kW motor.
