Volkswagen Connect edition launched on Polo, Ameo and Vento

With the advent of the festive season, automobile manufacturers cue up their best offerings to offer more value to the Indian audiences. Volkswagen has introduced Connect edition on the Polo, Ameo and Vento. The company mentions that the Connect edition will come equipped with an intelligent vehicle assistance system that will function with an app. This application will offer connected features such as trip tracking, fuel cost monitoring, driving behavior, SOS call and more. The Connect Edition on these models will be offered at no additional cost. Additionally, VW has also added a new Lapiz Blue body color on all the three offerings. The Volkswagen Polo is priced between Rs 5.55 lakh to Rs 9.39 lakh, Ameo between Rs 5.65 lakh to Rs 9.99 lakh and Vento is available between Rs 8.38 lakh to Rs 14.02 lakh, ex-showroom.

VW has updated the features list of the regular trims of the above mentioned cars with a Lapiz Blue color, moon stone coloured Radio surround trim, glove box light, rear USB charging port, 16-inch Portago Gray alloy wheels

The VW Connect app enables users to connect their car to their smart phone through a plug and play data dongle fitted to the on-board diagnostics (OBD) port of the car. Once installed and connected with a smartphone via Bluetooth, customers can get access to data on trip tracking, fuel cost monitoring where keep a tab on their monthly or trip wise fuel costs, driving behavior where individual scores are given for acceleration, braking, engine speed, engine temperature etc. for every trip which enables users to improve their driving efficiency by altering their driving style, SOS call and also service appointment.

The Connect editions of the Polo, Ameo and Vento will come with 16-inch Gray Portago wheels, leatherette seat covers, aluminium pedals, black carbon finish ORVM, glossy roof and side foil and chrome badge Connect on fender. Also VW has updated the features list of the regular trims of the above mentioned cars with a Lapiz Blue color, moon stone coloured Radio surround trim, glove box light, rear USB charging port, 16-inch Portago Gray alloy wheels,  chequered seat fabrics – Polo GT, leatherette seat fabrics – Polo, dual front side airbags, 15-inch Diamond cut linas (Allstar) – HighLine and body colour rear spoiler.
