Yamaha to offer special finance scheme for frontline warriors of COVID19

Yamaha India has announced special offers and schemes for front line warriors of COVID19. This will include all the doctor, nurses, sanitisation workers, healthcare personnel, police and para military force. The schemes include charging 50 percent of the EMI amount during the first three months of purchase of a new Yamaha two-wheeler. With this initiative, Yamaha wants to honour the hard work and the efforts taken by the frontline warriors. The scheme will be available across the dealerships and will be valid till July 31, 2020.

Earlier this month, Yamaha offered its tribute to the frontline warriors including medical fraternity, teams handling emergency, civil and essential services through a new campaign "Yamaha Salutes Frontline Warriors". All two wheelers and four wheelers used by the employees along with the company's transport would display the illustrative stickers in support of the campaign, a balloon signage will also being installed at OMR, Chennai near to the company head office while the teams at Yamaha's Chennai plant have offered their support with the help of a unique vehicle formation saying Thank You.

Last month, Yamaha donated over Rs 60 lakh to various government authorities across the country to fight the Coronavirus pandemic, which includes Rs 25 lakh to the Uttar Pradesh government, Rs 25 lakh to Tamil Nadu government and Rs 11.5 lakhs to the PM CARES fund to help the government during this ongoing crisis. The money was collected from permanent employees and trainees of the company based at the three plant facilities in Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh and Haryana.
