2013 Chevrolet Cruze launched in India at Rs 13.75 lakh
GM India has silently launched the refreshed Chevrolet Cruze via its official Facebook and website at Rs 13.75 lakh, ex-Delhi. Talks about the Cruze facelift and its impending launch were the headlines sometimes back. Though it is not surprising to note that GM India chose to go the 'soft launch' way for this model. Ever since the Tavera fiasco, GM has been only updating its products silently, more noticeably of the Beatthis year.
The 2013 Chevrolet Cruze comes with new bumpers and alloy wheels
Over to the new Cruze then. The car gets new bumpers and an aggressive looking spoiler in the front. The 16-inch alloy wheels are also new. These sums up the changes on the exterior. Inside the cabin, nothing has changed though and the Cruze still comes with the all-black interiors and a sunroof. GM is offering four airbags and ABS with the Cruze. Powering the car is the familiar 166PS/380Nm 2.0-litre VCDi engine which can be ordered with either a 6-speed manual or automatic trannies.
The Chevrolet now comes with a 5-year warranty
The launch of the Cruze can be seen as a festive season bonanza. On another note, to celebrate the first anniversary of the Sail U-VA hatchback in India, GM is now selling the car with a five year warranty. Plus there is also the chance of winning a 10g gold coin on delivery. Prices for the U-VA start at Rs 4.30 lakh, ex-Delhi.
