2013 Geneva Auto Show: Suzuki SX4 Crossover
Initially designed as a simple replacement for the outgoing SX4 model, Suzuki changed focus to a crossover design based on customer's reactions to the crossover trend in the global market.
The SX4 Crossover will have two engine options, a 1.6 litre petrol based on the M16A platform and a 1.6 diesel with a variable geometry turbocharger. These two power plants will be mated to either a six-speed manual or a CVT automatic with paddle-shift 7-speed manual mode. It will be available in both 2WD and 4WD modes.
It will be built at their plant in Hungary and is expected to hit markets at the end of the third quarter this year.
