For 2015, Ducati has introduced a new Titanium variant of its one-of-a-kind motorcycle, the Diavel. As the name suggests, the Ducati Diavel Titanium comes with parts that are machined from the strong yet light metal. The tank covers, both on the centre as well as the sides, and the headlight cover are made of titanium. The pillion seat cover is made out of a mixture of titanium and carbon fibre. The passenger seat cover is now wider than that on the standard Diavel, says Ducati.

Ducati has also embellished the Diavel Titanium with carbon fibre mudguards at each end as well as a carbon fibre fuel-filler cap surround, front sprocket cover, radiator cover and front micro windscreen.

The carbon fibre treatment continues to the air intakes that are larger than other models, says Ducati.

The Ducati Diavel Titanium also gets an exclusive, hand-stitched, Alcantara rider's seat with leather inserts. The blacked out mirror stalks are machined out of a solid block of aluminium. The brushed stainless steel silencers adds contrast to the exhaust, says Ducati.

The motorcycle also gets exhaust pipes that come with Zircotech black ceramic coating. Zircotech is a company that produces plasma sprayed ceramic coatings which protect components from the effects to heat, abrasion and corrosion. Ducati has used the same coating for the Testastretta 11 Dual Spark (DS) engine's intake tubes too. The Ducati Diavel Titanium's engine produces 162PS @9,250rpm and 130.5Nm of torque @8,000rpm.

The wheels are forged and come with a 17-inch 120/70 section tyre at the front and a gargantuan 17-inch 240/45 section rear tyre. Ducati says that the rear tyre uses a bi-compound technology coupled with an Enhanced Patch technology (EPT) that ensures maximum contact patch at all lean angles and reduced fuel-consumption, says Ducati.

The Ducati Diavel Titanium will come with all the techno wizardry that is staple of modern Ducatis. These include ride by wire, Ducati Traction Control (DTC), riding modes ( Sport, Urban and Touring) and ABS.

To maintain the exclusivity quotient, Ducati has limited the production of the Diavel Titanium to just 500 units.
