2017 Range Rover Evoque launched in India at Rs 49.10 lakh

Jaguar Land Rover has introduced the 2017 Range Rover Evoque range which is priced at Rs 49.10-67.90 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The biggest addition to the 2017 Range Rover Evoque range is the new Ingenium 2.0-litre diesel engine. The 2017 Evoque will is being offered with only this diesel engine for now. The 2017 Range Rover Evoque is the first Land Rover vehicle to be offered with the Ingenium diesel engine in India. Buyers can opt for the 2.0-litre Si4 petrol engine from January 2017 onwards.

The new Ingenium family of engines has been developed by Jaguar Land Rover and is 20 kilograms lighter than the previous generation engines. In the 2017 Range Rover Evoque, it makes 179PS of power and 430Nm of torque. The engine comes mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission with power being delivered to all four wheels.

On the outside, the 2017 Evoque gets full LED headlights with unique DRLs. On the inside, the updates include new Oxford leather seats, surround camera, a 825 watt Meridian surround sound system and a powered tailgate. Some trim gets a 8-inch touchscreen as standard while others come equipped with a bigger 10-inch display unit.

Land Rover India has also introduced the Range Rover Evoque HSE Dynamic Ember Edition which is priced at Rs 67.90 lakh. The Ember Edition gets a Firenze red roof which contrasts the Santorini Black colour of the rest of the vehicle. On the inside, it gets Ebony black seats with contrasting Pimento red stitching.
