The Triumph Bonneville Bobber is the newest member of the current generation Bonneville family and a full-fledged cruiser motorcycle. Our road test of the bike has helped us establish the fact that Speedmaster is an impressive addition to the middleweight cruiser space in the country with its kind of performance, comfort and rider aids. Here's a detailed look at the motorcycle.

The 2018 Triumph is positioned as a middleweight cruiser motorcycle in India and is based on the Triumph Bobber that is a single-seater only

The 2018 Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster uses a fat, 130-section Avon Cobra tyre upfront, along with twin 310mm discs

The 2018 Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster uses an all-LED headlight with integrated LED daytime running lights that provide adequate illumination

The instrument cluster on the 2018 Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster is the same single-pod unit as most of the other motorcycles in the Bonneville family and offers lots of information on the go, including distance to empty, fuel efficiency, riding mode and traction control settings and the like

The left side of the handlebar houses most of the controls on the 2018 Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster, including a one-touch button for cruise control, making it extremely convenient to use the function

The 2018 Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster comes with the option of a 'Highway' kit that includes a pillion backrest along with a luggage rack at the rear

The Highway kit for the 2018 Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster also includes a tall windscreen that can adjusted manually

Medium-sized panniers are also part of the optional Highway kit for the 2018 Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster

The 2018 Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster is powered by the same, liquid-cooled, 1200cc parallel-twin engine as the Triumph Thruxton R and Triumph Bobber and offers 77PS and 106Nm

Attention to detail on the 2018 Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster is excellent, like the Triumph branding on the footpegs

Just like the other Bonnevilles, the Speedmaster's fuel injectors are designed to look like carburettors to add to its credentials as a classic British motorcycle

The ignition slot for the 2018 Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster sits on the right side of the engine, close to the rider's leg

The optional seat that's a part of the 2018 Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster's Highway kit makes it more comfortable to sit on, while providing adequate support to the rider's tail bone

The 2018 Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster has a flat, wide handlebar that's comfortable in city and on the highway as well, but its angle towards the ends makes it slightly awkward when opening the throttle fully

The riding position on the 2018 Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster is upright - your legs are not stretched forward fully and the handlebar is wide which makes it comfortable for long rides in keeping with the fact that this is a cruiser

The 2018 Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster is eager to lean into corners, but its handling abilities are limited by the bike's low ground clearance and low set footpegs
