The 2021 Maruti Suzuki Swift hits showrooms soon, and the lineup now starts at Rs 5.73 lakh, going up to Rs 8.41 lakh, ex-showroom. Launched in 2018, this third-gen Swift, as part of its 2021 model year updates, receives mild tweaks to the front end styling to help differentiate it (chrome bar on updated mesh grille), apart from a move to the K12 Dual Jet VVT engine, with a corresponding bump in power from the 1.2-litre naturally-aspirated petrol motor, going from 83PS to 90PS, with with all variants gaining auto start/stop functionality.

The dynamics of the 2021 Swift have been tweaked as well, with the electronic power steering system updated to reflect better returnability, which should make manoeuvrability more predictable/natural. Maruti Suzuki has also fitted larger front disc brakes, along with larger-sized rear drum brakes.

The features list of the 2021 Swift gets a little more padded too, with an updated 4.2-inch colour TFT MID between the analogue instrumentation, and key-synchronised auto-fold ORVMs, apart from cruise control and an electronic stability program (ESP) with hill-hold assist for the AGS automated manual transmission variants. This aside, new dual-tone colours (contrast roof) are available for the 2021 Swift, including a Pearl Arctic White/Pearl Midnight Black, Solid Fire Red/Pearl Midnight Black, and Pearl Metallic Midnight Blue/Pearl Arctic White.
