Alfa Romeo 4C coming to Geneva
Alfa Romeo is all set to unveil the 4C at the Geneva Auto Show. This is the final production version of the concept first showcased at the same venue in 2011. The '4' in its moniker refers to the four cylinder 1750cc aluminium petrol engine. Though power figures haven't been released, we expect the 4C to bring around in excess of 235PS to the table, reason being it uses a tweaked Giulietta Quadrifoglio Verde engine which produces the same amount of power. Transmission will be Alfa's TCT automatic twin dry clutch unit.
The 4C is designed by Alfa's Style Centre, following lines of the iconic 33 Stradale and is built using aluminium and carbon fibre. Extensive use of carbon fibre also has been made in the interiors. Like a sports car, there are two bucket seats. Measuring in less than 4000mm and sitting 1180mm high, the Alfa Romeo 4C, the company claims will have very good dynamics with its rear wheel-drive configuration.
