Audi India launches A3 40 TFSI Premium at Rs 25.50 lakh

Audi has launched the base A3 40 TFSI Premium in India at Rs 25.50 lakh (ex-Mumbai). On the outside, this new variant will get new 15-spoke Y-design wheels (not seen in the images), electrically adjustable exterior mirrors and halogen lamps. This trim will also feature the High Gloss Package. The other petrol trim in the A3 range is the Premium Plus which retails for Rs 31.4 lakh.

The interior gets a four-spoke multifunctional leather steering wheel, new transparent inlays, rear AC vents and Regatta leatherette fabric upholstery. The car also gets an electronically adjustable driver’s seat, a chrome package and a lighting package. The interior colour schemes offered are Black, Chestnut Brown and Pashmina Beige.

Audi A3 Petrol

The A3 40 TFSI Premium gets Audi’s music and Bluetooth interface, passive speakers and Audi’s MMI radio. The equipment list on this trim includes light and rain sensors, a rear parking aid, automatic two-zone air conditioning, rough ride suspension, cruise control and a hill-assist function. Additionally, the A3 40 TFSI Premium also gets seven airbags, anti-slip regulation, electronic stabilisation control and anti-theft wheel bolts.

Audi A3 Cabriolet 1.8 TFSI quattro

The A3 40 TFSI Premium uses the same 1.8-litre in-line four-cylinder petrol engine mated to Audi’s 7-speed S tronic dual clutch transmission – 0-100kmph time is claimed at 7.3 seconds. The engine makes 180PS and 250Nm and gives the A3 40 TFSI a fuel efficiencyof 16.6kmpl, according to Audi.

The car is equipped with new and exciting features spread across interiors, exteriors and the infotainment systems. With increased comfort and safety, the new Audi A3 40 TFSI Premium will offer a great value to its customers. The new Audi A3 40 TFSI Premium sedan is priced at INR 25,50,000 onwards ex-showroom Mumbai and Delhi and is available at all Audi dealerships across India.

The Audi A3 40 TFSI offers 180 hp power and fuel efficiency of 16.6 kmpl. The Audi A3 Cabriolet - India’s largest selling Cabriolet is a petrol car. We are surprised with the demand for the A3 Cabriolet (which is available only in petrol). Having already exhausted the yearly allocation we have requested for higher allocation and expect the new Audi A3 40 TFSI Premium to follow this trend,” added Mr. King.

The car looks dynamic with the new features in exterior including the 40.64 cm cast aluminum alloy with 15-Spoke ‘’Y’’ design wheels. The car gets electrically adjustable exterior mirrors, in addition to the Halogen lamps and Light/ Rain Sensor. The High Gloss Package is also available on the model now.

The new features in interior add to the style quotient with multifunctional leather steering wheel in four-spoke design, new ambient transparent inlays in 3D look, floor mats at front and rear and Regatta Leatherette - Fabric upholstery. The new Audi A3 40 TFSI Premium also gets lighting package plus, electronically adjustable driver seat and a chrome package.

The infotainment systems in the new Audi A3 40 TFSI Premium are taken a notch up with the Audi music interface, Bluetooth® interface, Passive Speakers and MMI® Radio. The Audi music interface integrates portable media players into the Audi Multimedia Interface (MMI®) allowing customers to select artists, albums, tracks or genres with the MMI® controls. The system is capable of communicating with a wide range of portable media players and USB storage media. The Bluetooth interface allows interaction with suitably equipped mobile telephones and media players.

Offering enhanced comfort, the new Audi A3 40 TFSI Premium features a rear parking aid, Deluxe automatic two-zone air conditioning with sun sensor and rear AC vents, Rough Ride Suspension, cruise control, Auto release function and driver information system which comes with Efficiency Program that provides the driver with fuel saving tips.

The Audi A3 Sedan has already earned top ratings for safety and now takes it to another level with added features like, seven airbags, anti-slip regulation, electronic stabilisation control and anti-theft wheel bolts,.
The customers can choose between the option of Black, Chestnut Brown and Pashmina Beige for interior upholstery in the new Audi A3 40 TFSI Premium.

The Audi A3 40 TFSI Sedan is powered by S tronic® dual-clutch transmission, a technology that was originally developed for the Le Mans 24-hours endurance race to deliver more power, torque and enhanced fuel efficiency. The sprint from 0 to 100 km/h takes 7.3 seconds in the 40 TFSI.
