Audi showcases 313PS twin-turbo SQ5 at Le Mans
Audi's first S badged model with a diesel engine is the new SQ5. The SQ5 is a derivative of the Q5 and comes with a 313PS 3.0l V6 diesel engine with twin turbochargers and 650Nm of torque. It is mated to an 8-speed tiptronic transmission and Quattro all-wheel drive. Audi claims that the SQ5 will sprint from 0-100kmph in only 5.1s with a top speed of 250kmph. Fuel efficiency is a claimed 13.72kmpl.
Audi has pimped up the SQ5 with 20-inch wheels and 255/45 section tyres, with 21-inch wheels as optional, aluminium-look mirrors and sportier fascia treatment. The interiors get power-adjustable Alcantra leather seats with a black trim and gray instrument dials. And of course, the S badging all around the cabin. Audi has also put in a sound-actuator in the exhaust system, which in short gives occupants in the cabin a real V6 symphony.
