A few months back, BMW had offered a 25th anniversary special edition 7 Series V12 on account of its flagship sedan having run on a V12 engine from the last 25 years. And now, the company is celebrating 25 years of its 12-cylinder engines with a plethora of images in recap mode. The first V12 engine from BMW stables went under the hood of the 750i in 1987, an answer to which its competitors didn't have for many years.
BMW's first V12 engine in the 7 Series produced just 300PS while the next one made 322PS. Compared to that, the current one makes 535PS. In the image gallery below, you can also see the 7 Series' progression with regards to its design and also interior space.
