Coronavirus impact: Maruti Suzuki launches safety accessories
Maruti Suzuki has introduced a list of accessories to help the existing owners and potential customers fight the Coronavirus pandemic. Considering that the new normal will always have a potential risk of contracting the virus at all times, the company has offered a list of accessories that can be used for the protection against the COVID-19 virus.
The company has listed a new category named 'Health and Hygiene' on its official website. It includes face visors, car partitions, disposable eye gear, disposable shoe covers, 3ply face masks and more. The car partition is made of virgin grade premium Polyvinyl Chloride material. It helps in maintaining social distancing while travelling and prevents the transfer of droplets and particles within the car, which can happen while coughing, sneezing and talking. It is installed with the help of velcro and isolates the front and the passenger row. It provides protection from the roof to the floor and provides clear visibility as well.
The car partition is available for Ertiga, XL6, Ciaz, S-Cross, Old WagonR, Ritz, Dzire Tour, Celerio, Alto and it will also be introduced for the Vitara Brezza and Eeco. The price of the car partition depends on the model of the car, it starts from Rs 549 to Rs 649.
The face visor costs Rs 55, N95 face mask is for Rs 149, 3ply face mask for Rs 10, shoe cover for Rs 21, hand gloves for Rs 20, and disposable eye gear for Rs 100. The company is also offering interior cleaners like Sonax and Liquimoly.
It is a great initiative to provide these accessories to the customers as it helps reduce the risk of contamination.
