Fiat Punto Evo launched in India at Rs 4.55 lakh
Fiat India has launched the facelifted Punto at Rs 4.55 lakh ex-Delhi. The Fiat Punto Evo, as the facelifted version is called now, is available in seven trims.
The Punto facelift brings in major changes to the way the car looks. The car gets a new headlamp design, bumpers, bonnet, alloy wheels and LED tail lamps. Fiat satisfies the Indian penchant for chrome with oodles of it on the new Punto Evo. Inside the cabin, the dashboard has been revamped and comes in a curvier, more rounded avatar. All the Puntos (with the exception of the Punto 90) get a dual-tone black/beige theme and matching fabric wrap for the centre part of the dashboard. The piano black centre console gives off a premium look and in the top end variants, even sports ambient lighting. The steering wheel is carried over from the old car. The top-end variants receive 16-inch alloys while the ground clearance of 195mm is best in class.
There are four engine options on offer, all of which have been carried over from the old car. Fiat has provided new tyres for the facelifted Punto and the car rides and handles impressively. Two new colour options (Glitterati Gold and Magnesio Grey) have been added to the palette.
