Ford C-Max Energi claims 40kmpl
Ford claims that its new C-Max Energi plug-in hybrid car will deliver an amazing 40kmpl in a combined driving cycle. The company also claims that the C-Max can travel 32km only on electric power. The C-MAX Energi uses the all-new 2.0-liter Atkinson-cycle four-cylinder engine which when combined with the electric motor produces 191PS of power. It is part of Ford's first dedicated line of hybrid vehicles in North Americaoperates just like a traditional hybrid wherein owners must plug in the vehicle using its charge port.
This Toyota Prius V competitor will be on sale soon and available for order at Ford's certified electric-vehicle dealerships.
