Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, John Cooper, vice president, Customer Service Division at Ford Asia Pacific said, "Customers today view vehicles as an extension of their own personalities and are keen to customise their cars to stand out from the clutter. Our customers today are socially conscious who don't compromise and want things done their way. They desire for enhanced levels of personalisation to make vehicles look distinctly theirs."

The Personalisation Centre has 19 bays that are designed to accommodate Ford's vehicles and will be operated by technicians trained by the company. Ford India also says that the new centre will relieve its dealers from the hassle of stocking aftermarket accessories. Thus, at the time of booking, customers can simply choose the accessories that they want and place an order at the dealer. Ford India will then fit the prescribed items.

At present, the option of personalising Ford cars is limited to customers of the Ecosport. They can either opt for a spare wheel cover or fit alloy wheels in case they have ordered the Ambiente and Trend variants. In addition, owners of the Titanium and Titanium variants can also opt for the Sports Pack, which includes a rear-spoiler, LED scuff plate and roof cross-bar. Ford says that the accessories are priced at an affordable rate and offer great value. The range of aftermarket products that are on offer from Ford will be increased later in 2015.
