Gulf Oil launches Formula GX engine oil in India
Aston Martin Racing endorsed Formula GX engine oil is now available in India courtesy Gulf oil corporation. The fully synthetic passenger car motor oil is recommended for luxury cars and utility vehicles. Luxury car manufacturers like BMW, Mercedes and Volkswagen have already approved the use of this oil in their cars while Gulf claims that this oil is also ready to be used in Renault, General Motors and Porsche cars as well. The benefits it offers over regular or semi-synthetic oils is that it has lower oil consumption, better fuel economy, easy cold starting, wear protection and higher running temperature.
The Gulf Formula GX is available in a 4-litre pack which comes encased in a premium VIP Verve Dlx-G costing nearly Rs 4000.
Commenting on the launch, Ravi Chawla, president and CEO of Gulf Oil Lubricants division said "Car owners looking for better overall performance can now opt for the specially formulated Gulf Formula GX, a fully synthetic motor oil that offers several performance benefits including improved fuel economy, lower oil consumption, wear protection and, cold starting and high temperature running. Synthetic oils have better longevity and the ability to protect the engine from extreme wear and tear. Moreover, they provide high performance in extreme climatic conditions by not breaking down at high temperatures and remaining fluid at low temperatures."
