Harley-Davidson India appoints Vikram Pawah as new MD
Vikram Pawah has been appointed as the new managing director for Harley-Davidson India. He will be managing the motorcycle brand's sales, dealer network, marketing, service and operations in India.
With a career spanning 24 years, Vikram Pawah has served with a wide range of companies, including Honda Cars India Ltd his last designation at Honda was assistant vice president and operating head sales.
India is an important and growing market for Harley-Davidson, and with Pawah's leadership and long experience in the automotive industry, we will seek to expand our presence even further in the country, to allow more customers the opportunity to fulfill their dreams of personal freedom," said Marc McAllister, vice president and managing director, Asia Pacific.
Harley-Davidson recently launched their 2016 Dark Custom line-up in India the range includes the new Street 750, the Forty-Eight and the Iron 883.

Vikram Pawah has been named managing director of Harley-Davidson India effective today. In his new role, Pawah will manage Harley-Davidson India's leadership team responsible for in-country sales, dealer network management, marketing, service and operations activities to expand the company's presence in the country. Pawah brings more than 24 years of experience, of which 21 were with Honda in India and Australia. His most recent role was assistant vice president and operating head - sales with Honda Cars India Ltd, where he led the sales operations across India and the export markets for product and accessories. Prior to Honda, he worked with Jay Engineering Works Ltd, a market leader in the manufacturing of USHA brand fans, sewing machines and fuel injection equipment, as well as Fun Foods India Pvt. Ltd. Pawah holds a Master of Business Administration from the Victoria University in Melbourne, Australia, a post-graduate diploma in Business Management from the Institute of Management Studies in Delhi, India and a Bachelor of Commerce (Honors) from MLN College, Delhi University in India. | |
