The Indian plant is the only facility outside the US where Harley-Davidson manufactures motorcycles.

Baljeet Mokha, director, plant operations, Harley-Davidson India said, "We are honoured to be recognised by IACC for Harley-Davidson India's operational excellence in manufacturing. The ability to build and deliver exceptional products is possible only through inputs from our customers and the efforts and dedication of our employees and partners."

This was the tenth edition of the IACC awards that aims to recognise excellence in financial planning, corporate social responsibility, development of human capital and impact on respective markets. Indian companies operating in America as well as American companies operating in India are eligible.
