Harley-Davidson launches 2014 Dyna Low Rider and SuperLow 1200T in the US
Harley-Davidson Motorcycles has launched two new bikes for the US market. Both these bikes will be available from mid-2014 onwards.
Harley is powered by a 1690cc V-twin engine and retails in the US at $14,199 (Rs 8,69,830)
The first of the two is the 2014 Dyna Low Rider. It is powered by a 1690cc V-twin engine that is mated to a six-speed transmission.
Harley-Davidson offers a wide range of customisation options with the motorcycle to suit your riding style and a special attention to ergonomics. The setup has been designed for riders of all shapes and sizes, adjustments can be done to the handlebar and seat.
The 2014 Dyna has five spoke aluminum wheels, twin disc front brakes, wrinkle black trim, a polished headlight visor and a 2-into-1 exhaust as well as a wrinkle black console on the fuel tank with speedo and tachometer.
The Dyna Low Rider retails in the US at $14,199 (Rs 8,69,830).

The next offering is the SuperLow 1200T. This cruiser has a 1200cc V-twin engine cradled for the first time in a SuperLow frame. This bike has been designed to suit riders in the height range of 5'1"- 5'7".

This cruiser gets lockable saddlebags, quick detach docking points and detachable windscreen. Brakes have a 300mm disc with a 38mm piston biting on them- ABS is also available as option. The Harley website shows the price as 11,799 dollars (Rs 7,22,806).
"It's been a fantastic six months for us," said Matt Levatich, Harley-Davidson Motor Company president and chief operating officer. "First Project RUSHMORE, then Harley-Davidson Street, now the new SuperLow 1200T and Low Rider models -- all are the result of being customer led and delivering riders the technical prowess and rebellious spirit that they want infused in each and every new Harley."
