Honda Activa 125 launched in India at Rs 56,607

Honda has launched the Activa 125 in India at Rs 56,607, ex-Mumbai. The company had earlier opened bookings for its first 125cc scooter. There are two variants on offer- the standard variant retails for the aforementioned price while the deluxe is priced at Rs 62,588. Both prices are ex-Mumbai. The on-road prices are Rs 62,276 and Rs 69,500 respectively. This puts the standard Activa 125 at nearly Rs 7,000 more than the Activa 110 DLX.

The Honda Activa 125 is powered by an all-new 125cc HET motor which makes 8.7PS of power and 10.12Nm of torque. Like the other scooters from HMSI's fold, even this one comes with a v-matic transmission. Expect the Honda Activa 125 to deliver a fuel efficiency of 60kmpl. As is evident from the pricing, there will be two variants; the standard comes with 130mm drums while the deluxe gets a 190mm front disc. Honda has linked its Combined Braking System or CBS to both the variants. The scooter will be offered in four shades- blue, silver, black and white.
