Remember the bright blue coloured Linea 125 S concept at the Auto Expo 2016 It is finally on sale now at an ex-showroom price of 10.10 lakh, ex-Delhi and only in the top-spec Emotion variant. Along with this, Fiat India also added more features to the Linea as well as Punto range. On the Fiat Linea 125 S, this includes a new 5-inch touchscreen music system with navigation, rear sun blind and cruise control . The 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol engine has been tuned to make 125PS/210Nm, 11PS and 10Nm more than the older motor. While this gives it the bragging rights of being the most powerful C-segment sedan, this doesn't necessarily translate into good performance. In our test, the Fiat Linea 125 S raced to 100kmph in 10.4s. However, the car is a hoot to drive with the way she balances her ride and handling. You can read more about this latest Fiat here in our road test review and scroll below for the photos.
There is no visual difference from the rest of the Lineas. Disappointing!
Even though its been almost ten years since she is in the Indian market, a mild facelift in 2014, still makes her look gorgeous
Auto headlamps and wipers are part of the equation with this top-spec variant- the only 125 S available
The interior continues with the same layout as the regular Lineas but it now has a touchscreen system, leather seats and cruise control
The TA65 gearbox is a love it or hate it affair and is shared with other Fiat cars
There aren't many storage spaces inside the cabin and this is one of them
For such a long car, Fiat could have given a reverse camera considering that others in the segment offer it as standard. There though are reverse sensors
The Linea 125 S handles beautifully because of its stiff suspension. However, the ride quality too isn't bad
The 500litre boot space is marred by the wheel well intrusions
Cruise control is one of the standout features
Space at the rear, especially the headroom is at a premium if you are anything more than 6ft
The 125PS turbopetrol is a delightful engine and promises cheap thrills
