The 2017 Street Triple is set to go on sale in India on June 12, 2017, and it replaces the Street Triple 675, a motorcycle that was loved for its nimble character and accessible performance. For 2017, the Street Triple 765 gets a bump in displacement, features and contemporary design. The bike will be available in three variants - S, R and RS. 2017 Triumph Street Triple S

This is the base S variant that gets basic equipment

Up front is a 41mm Showa Separate Function Fork (SFF) with a 110mm wheel travel

Twin 310mm floating discs upfront handling braking duties

At the rear is a Showa monoshock with preload adjustability and 124mm wheel travel

The S model gets a 765cc, liquid-cooled inline-triple motor that pumps out 113PS at 11,250rpm and 73Nm at 9,100rpm

The new Street Triple S has the lower seat height at 810mm

Electronics on the Street Triple include ABS, ride-by-wire, switchable traction control, and Rain and Road modes

The instrument cluster in the new Street Triple S may look similar to the outgoing models; however, it has been updated for 2017

The S model rides on Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa tyres

2017 Street Triple R

The Street Triple R is the mid-spec model in the 2017 range

The R model gets a brand-new, angle-adjustable, colour 5" TFT instrumentation. There are three different screen display styles to choose from. The contrast can be adjusted based on ambient light or weather conditions

The R-spec Street Triple's motor develops 118PS at 12,000rpm and 77Nm at 9,400rpm

The Street Triple R gets Showa 41mm upside-down forks, but they're the top-flight Separate Function, Big Piston Fork (SF-BPF) with 5mm more travel than the S model

At the rear is a Showa monoshock but it's fully adjustable for preload, rebound and compression. It permits 131mm, or 7mm more wheel travel

The R gets 330mm discs upfront, with Brembo M4.32 Monobloc calipers

The Street Triple R also rides on Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa rubbers

The R gets new switch gear and additional Sport and Rider customisable riding modes, in addition to Road and Rain modes in the base S model

The R's seat, at 825mm, is higher that the S variants

2017 Street Triple RS

The Street Triple RS is the top-spec model in the range

The RS' engine makes 123PS at 11,700rpm and 77Nm that peaks a full 1,400rpm higher to 10,800rpm, when compared to the mid-spec R's engine

The RS gets Showa 41mm BPFs upfront

At the rear is an Ohlins STX40 shock with 131mm wheel travel and full adjustability

The RS also gets top-flight Pirelli Supercorsa SP tyres

The RS gets top-spec Brembo M50 calipers
