The Mercedes Benz GLC Coupe made a global debut last month and this time around, a more oomph'ed up version of the same Coupe has been unveiled at the 2019 Shanghai Motorshow - The Mercedes-AMG GLC S 63 Coupe. The standard SUV Coupe has gone under the AMG treatment and to put things in perspective, the same Mercedes-AMG GLC S 63 Coupe holds the record of the fastest SUV around the Nurburgring. The record was set in November last year.

The body style of the AMG version is identical to the standard SUV Coupe

However, the styling elements and an aggressive theme hint at a faster character of the GLC S 63 Coupe

The headlamps and the tail lamp assembly are redesigned with different styling elements

The Pan-American grille takes the centre stage unlike the standard Coupe that gets a wide chrome bedazzled grille

The 21-inch lightweight alloy wheels are an optional pack and the AMG GLC S 63 coupe gets a new graphite grey colour

The cabin will have the AMG steering wheel and upholstery in magma grey or black with yellow contrast stitching

The AMG steering wheel is standard with the GLS S 63 Coupe with steering mounted controls exclusive for the AMG variant

The GLC 63 will also get AMG specific functions with the MBUX such as the - touchscreen display, accelerated voice control and optional gesture control

The power source of the coupe is a 4.0-litre V8 engine that puts out 517PS and 700Nm

The SUV can make a 0-100kmph run of 3.8 seconds and has a top speed of 280kmph
