Ducati has debuted its latest marvels, theĀ Ducati XDiavel andĀ XDiavel S, at EICMA 2015. According to Ducati, these motorcycles have been designed to offer cruiser like comfort without compromising on the performance of sports bikes. They runĀ Ducatiās twin-cylinder Testastretta engine that displacesĀ 1,262cc, mated to aĀ 6-speed transmission. This liquid cooled engine uses DVT (Desmodromic Variable Timing) and producesĀ 156PS of power at 9,500rpmĀ andĀ 128.9Nm of torque at just 5,000rpm. The chassis on theĀ XDiavel andĀ XDiavel S have been updated too, and holdĀ a single-sided swingarm with a belt final drive, which is a first on a Ducati.
TheĀ XDiavel S uses several electronics from Bosch such as aĀ fuel injection system and a ride by wire throttle with three riding modes ā Sport, Touring and Urban. Apart from these features, this motorcycle also getsĀ a Bosch IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit),Ā cornering ABS,Ā Ducati Traction Control and adjustable suspension.
