Ducati has debuted its latest marvels, the Ducati XDiavel and XDiavel S, at EICMA 2015. According to Ducati, these motorcycles have been designed to offer cruiser like comfort without compromising on the performance of sports bikes. They run Ducati's twin-cylinder Testastretta engine that displaces 1,262cc, mated to a 6-speed transmission. This liquid cooled engine uses DVT (Desmodromic Variable Timing) and produces 156PS of power at 9,500rpm and 128.9Nm of torque at just 5,000rpm. The chassis on the XDiavel and XDiavel S have been updated too, and hold a single-sided swingarm with a belt final drive, which is a first on a Ducati.
The XDiavel S uses several electronics from Bosch such as a fuel injection system and a ride by wire throttle with three riding modes Sport, Touring and Urban. Apart from these features, this motorcycle also gets a Bosch IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit), cornering ABS, Ducati Traction Control and adjustable suspension.
