JLR launches locally-built XF in India
Jaguar Land Rover has launched their locally-built XF saloon in India at a price of Rs 44.5 lakh ex-Mumbai. The new XF, now also comes with a 2.2-litre diesel engine which makes 190PS of power and 450Nm of torque, mated to a new 8-speed ZF automatic transmission with paddle shifters.
An array of standard features are available in the XF 2.2, some of which include a touch screen navigation system, electric sunroof, TV tuner, rear view camera, rear screen electric blind and full size spare wheel. Apart from the 2.2-litre diesel engine, the XF is also offered with the choice of a 275PS 3.0-litre V6 diesel and the range topping 510PS 5.0-litre V8 petrol. The other locally-built vehicle from the Jaguar Land Rover fold in India is the Freelander2.
