Kia Carnival garners 1410 bookings on the first day, 64 per cent is for top-end Limousine variant
Kia Motors is all set to officially launch its second offering, the Carnival in the 2020 Auto Expo that is going to be held in February. The Pre-booking for the Carnival opened on 21st January and interested customers can pre-book it online at the official Kia Motors India website and via the 265 touchpoints across the country by paying a booking amount of Rs 1,00,000. On the very first day, 1410 units were booked. After contacting an authorized dealer, we got to know that the booking amount is fully refundable till 12th of February, 2020 and after that, a percentage of the amount will be deducted. The percentage decrease will be disclosed later.
The Carnival is being offered in three trims Premium, Prestige and Limousine, and with multiple seating configurations of seven, eight and nine. According to the sources, around 64 per cent of the overall bookings received so far is for the top-end Limousine trim.

The Carnival is powered by a 2.2L VGT BSVI diesel engine paired with an 8-speed sportsmatic transmission and the engine generates 200 PS and 440 Nm of torque. The Carnival is available with many features like dual panel electric sunroof, 10.1 inch dual touch screen rear seat entertainment system (for the Limousine trim) and one touch power sliding door among many others.
