KTM showcasing RC8 in India at showrooms soon
The KTM RC8 is coming to showrooms soon. Don't wet your pants just yet. It's only coming to showrooms. It is not on sale. Remember how the R15 came in calling itself the mini-R1? People literally dropped everything they were doing and ran to the showrooms when the R15 was launched because they could associate it to the litre-class brother.
This is what KTM is also trying to establish. By showcasing the RC8 at their showrooms across the country, KTM is trying to establish a connect with costumers and move them away from their image as a naked street bike manufacturer. They are doing this to prepare them for the eventual arrival of the mini-RC8 sometime next year. Rumour has it that when this bike does show up, it will be styled pretty much similar to the RC8 and will be powered by a 250cc mill. Next year just keeps getting better and better.
