Launched 2013 Mercedes SLS AMG GT3 45th anniversary car
To mark its 45th anniversary of the first SL made, Mercedes has launched a special edition SLS AMG GT3. Handmade in Affalterbach, Mercedes will be building only five examples of it. Features differentiating it from the regular SLS AMG are a special graphite magno matte paint job, carbon fibre composite doors, trunk lid and hood. The car's entire race cage is also painted in the same exterior colour and both the occupants get carbon-shell seats.
Bernd Schneider will be supplying the 6.2-litre V8 engine for the SLS AMG GT3. Schneider will be also giving a tour of the Merc factory in Affalterbach to the five lucky customers. It can't get better than this!
