Launched: Mahindra Maxximo Plus in India at Rs 3.49 lakh
Mahindra has launched the new Maxximo Plus in India at a starting price of Rs 3.40 lakh for the BS3 trim and Rs 3.49 lakh for the BS4, ex-Thane and Mumbai respectively. The Maxximo Plus replaces the Maxximo mini-van. It has a 909cc 2-cylinder diesel engine pushing out 26PS of power and is mated to a 4-speed manual transmission. Mahindra claims that the Maxximo Plus can max out at 70kmph, much higher than what the competition vehicles can. Equipped with the 'Fuel Smart' technology, the new Maxximo claims a fuel efficiency of 21.9kmpl as per ARAI standards.
Other changes in the Maxximo Plus include a longer wheelbase (approx 4 inches more), new graphics and 7-leaf rear suspension. The Maxximo Plus comes with a 2 year/60,000km warranty and there is also a 'Zero Maintenance Offer' which Mahindra says stands good for six months/25,000km, whichever is earlier.
