Launched Toyota Liva TRD Sportivo limited edition in India
To celebrate the first anniversary of the Etios Liva in India, Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has launched the limited edition Liva TRD Sportivo. Available in ultramarine blue and white, in both petrol and diesel trims; the Liva TRD Sportivo is priced at Rs 5.23 lakh and 6.32 lakh ex-Delhi respectively. The new exterior features in the car include smoked alloy wheels, side skirts, two-tone rear spoiler, roof spoiler, body graphics and limited edition badging, Inside, a silver shift knob and new seat fabric with TRD Sportivo logo are the only changes from the regular Liva.
Bookings as also deliveries for the new trims start from July 31, 2012. Only 1200 units of the limited edition Liva will be made and sold till October this year.
Speaking on the occasion of the launch Hiroshi Nakagawa, managing director, TKM, said "We are glad to introduce Liva TRD Sportivo Limited Edition, on the occasion of the first anniversary of Etios Liva. Etios and Etios Liva have been doing well and our vision, to see growing number of Toyota happy customers and Toyota families, is beginning to materialize. We will soon begin the domestic production of engine and transmission in the third quarter of 2012 and early 2013 respectively, at our facility in Toyota Kirloskar Auto Parts. We also exported the first batch of Etios series to South Africa in April this year. We thank our customers for their appreciation of Etios and Etios Liva and look forward to their feedback to continuously improve upon the product."
