Skoda Auto Volkswagen India has scheduled its first 'Group Night' in Delhi just days before the Auto Expo 2020. The company will also launch the Audi A8L at the same event and will also unveil its India 2.0 strategy. One of the highlights of the event is most likely to be the first look of the Vision IN that was teased recently.

The cabin of the concept features sustainable materials, four bucket seats, Virtual Cockpit digital instrumentation and textured dashboard inlays inspired by the Indian art of Block Printing.
Skoda Vision IN Concept - Skoda’s version of the compact SUV based on the A0 IN platform.
The Volkswagen A0 IN SUV - compact, looks production ready, and very stylish. To be called Taigun.
The cabin of the A8 L features 5 touchscreens, massaging, in car entertainment, ambient lighting and fragrancing, video calling using the in-built entertainment screens etc.
The 3.0l petrol in the India-spec A8 L is BSVI complaint and features mild-hybrid tech.
Audi’s strategy for India from now until 2025 is centred around these four pillars.
SAVWIPL will also kick off their EV program in India soon, starting off with a top down approach, with the luxury brands leading the charge. This could mean Porsche will come down with the #Taycan to India as the groups first EV.
The first reveal of the night is the recently launched Lamborghini Hurcan Evo RWD.
The plants in Pune and Aurangabad are already gearing up towards cleaner processes and tech.
Top down approach will be taken for EVs, with the luxury brands like Audi and Porsche taking charge.
By 2021, the Group aims to reach 90 per cent localisation for Skoda and VW products based on the A0 IN platform.
The Group will launch 30 new models under India 2.0, of which at least 10 models will be electrified.
