McLaren P1 performance figures and prices out

McLaren has been letting out details and images of its production-ready P1, ever since the vehicle first debuted at the Paris Auto Show in concept form. While a few days back the manufacturer teased us with interior shots and also divulged information about its powertrain, they held back its performance figures. Now, no more. McLaren has officially announced that the P1 will breach the 100kmph mark from standstill in less than three seconds while the 200kmph will be attained in under seven seconds and 300kmph within 17 seconds. These numbers put the P1 squarely in the same league as the Veyron and Huayra.

If those numbers weren't shocking, this definitely will. The cost of the P1 for the US market is Rs 6.19 crore.
