Mercedes reveals new Citan Crewbus
Mercedes Benz has introduced a new Citan Crewbus. It shares the design language of the Renault Kangoo, which is not surprising considering the Daimler-Renault alliance.
It is the stretched version of the Citan and is capable of carrying seven passengers. The new third seat row in the Citan consists of two individual seats. These are independently adjustable fore-and-aft, and can be individually folded down or removed as required.

There are two engine options for this new Crewbus, namely the Citan 111 CDI and the Citan 112. The 111 is a 1.5-litre engine that makes 110PS and 240Nm. The 112 is a 1.2-litre engine that is good for 112PS. Both the Citan 111 CDI and the Citan 112 are equipped with a six-speed manual transmission as standard. The Citan 111 CDI claims a 0-100kmph time of around 12.3 seconds while reaching a top speed of 170kmph. The 112 on the other hand takes 11.7 seconds to go from 0-100kmph and reaches a top speed of 173kmph.
The Citan currently sells in all EU countries, Switzerland, Norway and Turkey. Russia, Chile, Middle East and Southeast Asia are set to join this list soon.
