The Tata Nano has always grabbed eyeballs, for reasons both good and bad. The new Tata GenX Nano will sport a slew of changes, some of which address customer needs based on feedback. The boot for instance, in the old Nano, was unopenable. The GenX Nano will sport an openable hatch, making life easier for those who need to carry luggage. The new Tata GenX Nano will sport revised front and rear design changes such as a new front air dam and round fog lamps. The interiors too are believed to be refreshed with a new instrument console as well as new upholstery .

The creature comfort list includes air-conditioner with heater, central locking, ORVMS on both sides and a multimedia infotainment system.

Tata had launched the power steering equipped Nano Twist last year and the new car will come with the same feature. There is no word yet on engine specifications, however expect Tata to continue with the 600cc 38PS motor. Alongside the 4-speed manual tranny, there will also be the optional 5-speed AMT.
