The base Titanium gets simplistic styling with a chrome bar execution, whereas the ST-Line gets its design cues from Ford's performance line-up of vehicles like the current Fiesta ST and Focus RS. The ST-Line features sports seats, alloy pedals and a flat-bottomed steering wheel.

The Active is the first Fiesta crossover, featuring rugged SUV-inspired bits like raised ride-height and roof bars. The Fiesta Vignale is the premium model of the new line-up. The Vignale comes equipped with a leather interior, large eight-spoke alloys, contrast stitching throughout the cabin and plenty of Vignale badging.

The Fiesta is also the first Ford to get a B&O Play sound system as well as gets SYNC 3 connectivity supported by 8-inch high-definition touchscreens.

Ford has also revised the powertrain options for the new Fiesta line-up. The Fiesta is now available with six petrol and two diesel engines, all in various states of tune. All these engines get auto start-stop as standard.

The petrol mill consists of a 1.1-litre TiVCT, with either 70PS or 85PS, and an improved 1.0-litre EcoBoost unit. The EcoBoost engine is available with 100PS, 125PS and 140PS and can be optioned with a 6-speed manual or an automatic gearbox depending on the state of tune.

It also features a pedestrian detection system to prevent collisions at night as well as Ford Active Park Assist system to prevent low-speed bumps when parking hands-free. Its other safety features include electronic emergency brake assist, electronic stability control, ISOFIX child seat hard points, passenger airbag deactivation with indicator and rear seat belt reminder.
