Nissan India has entered into an alliance with MyTVS, owned by TVS Automobile Solutions, to expand their service network in the country. The first step in this alliance is the opening of eight Nissan Authorised Service Points (NASP) in Tamil Nadu. Datsun models will also have access to these NASPs, including the recently launched redi-Go. The Yokohama-based automaker has already 23 outlets across India under its dealerships.

"Increased options and more convenient access to car servicing make our customers happier. We are always striving to enhance the pleasure of owning a Nissan or Datsun car in India. Our partnership with MyTVS shows Nissan's unwavering commitment to improving convenience and satisfaction for our customers," said Guillaume Sicard, president, Nissan India Operations.

The NASPs are aimed at making service stations more accessible and convenient for Nissan and Datsun owners. The NASPs will offer genuine parts and consumable part replacement like oil filter and brake pad change, all handled by trained staff. Nissan has planned to open more service stations with MyTVS across the country. Nissan also plans to increase its dealership count to 300 in India by 2017.
