Renault car prices increased in India

Renault has officially announced an increase in price for its existing range of products in India.  The company has attributed the price hike to 'swelling input costs, which have driven up the cost of components'.

The Renault Duster, which recently crossed the one lakh units-sold milestone with a celebratory limited edition, will now be sold at a price one per cent higher than its earlier cost. Renault's Scala and Pulse join the popular SUV with a similar price hike.

It's too early to say predict if the fact that the cars are now a few thousand rupees dearer than before, will affect their sales. We will watch out for new updates in their respective segments and keep you apprised.

Renault India increases price by 1% on its products Chennai, July 2nd, 2014:Renault India Pvt. Ltd., India's fastest growing car company, today announced increase in price on its existing product range from 1stJuly 2014. The hike is due to swelling inputs cost, which has driven up the cost of components. The prices of Renault Scala, Renault Pulse & Renault Duster will go up by 1%, with this increase.
