Skoda announces offers on select variants of the Rapid
Skoda Auto India is now offering the Rapid with low interest rate schemes and other ownership benefits. These offers, though, are only valid for select trims of the sedan.
All petrol variants of the Rapid can be purchased through the finance scheme at an interest rate of 7.99 per cent. As for the diesel trims, this offer only extends to the ones with manual transmission. The company will be offering these benefits, through VWFS (Volkswagen Financial services). VW India had recently announced a similar scheme on the Polo and the Vento under its Customer Incentive Program.
A four-year periodic maintenance scheme for the Ambition trim is available at Rs 8,000. There is also extended warranty and a roadside assistance programme on offer. These benefits, however, only apply to the manual transmission models and do not extend to the automatic variants of the Ambition trim.
Skoda Auto India says that these offers will help fulfil its aim of "providing customers an enhanced ownership experience at an affordable cost." The offers will be valid up till February 28, 2015 at all Skoda dealerships across India.
