Having sold over 1.1 lakh units of the hatchback since its introduction a year ago, Hyundai are now bringing out a new edition of the Grand i10. Christened the SportZ Edition, this variant gets a few changes that are expected to lend the car a sportier feel, in keeping with the name.
14-inch diamond-cut alloys, a blacked-out B-pillar and a rear spoiler distinguish it from the regular trims on the road. The interiors have been given a red theme and come upholstered in fabric while the steering wheel comes wrapped in leather with audio and Bluetooth controls mounted on top.
The mills running it remain the same as the regular Grand i10âs. The 1.2-litre Kappa powered petrol variant comes at Rs 5.11 lakh while its U2 1.1-litre CRDi run diesel counterpart retails at Rs 5.98 lakh. All prices listed here are ex-Delhi.

The Grand âSportZ Editionâ comes with a host of sporty and high-tech features like 14âDiamond cut Alloy wheels, blue tooth connectivity, steering mounted audio and Bluetooth controls, leather wrap on steering wheel, rear spoiler, B-Pillar blackout along with body graphics. Moreover, the interiors of the car have been further enhanced with premium full cloth upholstery and crafted in tones of red.
The SportZ variant comes with the highly advanced and frugal 2nd generation U2 1.1 litre CRDi diesel engine which offers a combination of optimum performance along with best-in-class fuel efficiency of 24 kmpl (ARAI figure). Also the highly acclaimed all-aluminum 1.2 litre Kappa petrol engine comes with Dual VTVT technology and best-in-class mileage of 18.9 kmpl (ARAI figure).
