Lamborghini showcased the ultra-exclusive Veneno Roadster off Abu Dhabi on December 1 aboard the Nave Cavour, a naval aircraft carrier. The Veneno Roadster will be out in the market in 2014 with a starting price of 3.3 million euros (that's Rs 28 crores, enough to buy you 20 F-Types).

The Veneno Roadster, of which only nine will be made, was presented to prospective clients and media persons at the naval ship. Lamborghini had first shown the Veneno to the public at this year's Geneva Motor Show. The ultra exclusive car is an open top road legal roadster with a roll over bar brace replacing the attachable roof.

With a 750PS 6.5-litres V12 engine under the hood, the Veneno Roadster boasts breaching the 100kmph barrier in just 2.9 seconds and maxing out at 355kmph. Putting all this power to all four wheels is the fast shifting ISR transmission with five modes. The Veneno Roadster is built around a race chassis and has horizontal dampers and pushrod suspension. While customers get to individually personalise their car, the paint scheme that was shown at Abu Dhabi was a specially developed 'rosso veneno'.

The Veneno is built on a light weight CFRP monocoque frame and the material has been extensively used even in the exteriors. Thanks to that, the Veneno weighs just 1490kg and is fast, very fast.
