Tata Motors is set to unveil its first offering in the premium hatchabck space, the Tata Altroz today. This car competes against the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Honda Jazz, Toyota Glanza, Volkswagen Polo and the Hyundai Elite i20. Its the first offering based on the new ALFA modular structure and gets a host of BSVI-compliant engines.

The Tata Motors line-up of BSVI cars has been unveiled. TataNexon TataTiago TataTigor TataAltroz.
To round this off, Tata Motors has also debuted a new marketing pitch for its updated line-up which focuses on safety, technology, styling and driving pleasure, termed #NewForever.
The facelifted Tata Nexon BSVI sees the most significant upgrades. It gets ESP as standard now, the IRA connected car features, sunroof and a digital instrument cluster among other changes.
Aside from the new face, and BSVI engines, the Tata Tiago gets a few new features as well.

Tata Motors will also launch the facelifted Tata Nexon SUV, and the facelifts for the Tiago and Tigor twins.
There are four variants on offer, on both powertrain options. Further, you can choose numerous feature packages with some variants.
The Altroz is the second Tata car after the Nexon to score a five-star Global NCAP safety rating.
The petrol motor is the 1.2-litre Revotron 3-cylinder petrol, as seen on the Tiago, with 86PS at 6,000rpm and 113Nm at 3,300rpm. Both get a five-speed manual.
The 1.5-litre Revotorq turbo-diesel 4-cylinder is a detuned version of the one found in the Nexon and makes 90PS at 4,000rpm and 200Nm at 1,250-3,000rpm.
The Altroz is based on the firm's new ALFA modular architecture, which is set to spawn a range of products in the future.
The unladen ground clearance is 165mm, turning radius is 5.0m and has a 37-litre fuel tank. Boot space is 345L.
The Altroz is 3,990mm long, 1,755mm wide and 1,523mm tall. The wheelbase is 2,501mm with the front and rear track being 1,510mm.
